Keystone was built to be the most reliable contractor in Hampton Roads. We offer true design-build — complete MEP packages where mechanical, electrical, and controls are delivered under a single contract, with a single point of accountability.

That partnership model is the entire point. When a federal, municipal, or private commercial client hires Keystone, they aren't coordinating three trades and chasing three schedules. They're working with one team that designs, builds, and commissions the full system — and stands behind every component of it.

Our work spans high-end commercial HVAC — rooftop units, packaged ACs, VAV, and VRF systems — alongside commercial and industrial electrical construction, switchgear testing and maintenance, and controls work that we self-perform with our own licensed contractor and in-house certified technicians. We carry the qualifications federal and NAVFAC work demands, and we deliver them with the consistency that makes clients come back.

What We Do

MECHANICAL · ELECTRICAL · CONTROLS

Mechanical (HVAC) — High-end commercial HVAC including rooftop units (RTUs), packaged ACs, VAV systems, and VRF systems. We are LG and Mitsubishi certified VRF installers, with experience across commercial and light industrial applications. From initial design through commissioning, our mechanical scope is engineered for performance, efficiency, and the operational lifespan our clients are paying for.

Electrical — Commercial and industrial electrical construction, switchgear testing and maintenance, and master electricians on staff. Whether the project is a new federal facility, a municipal upgrade, or a private commercial build-out, our electrical division delivers code-compliant, schedule-ready work — backed by the experience federal and NAVFAC projects demand.

Controls (Self-Performed) — Controls is where most MEP contractors hand the work off. We don't. Keystone carries its own controls contractor license and runs controls-certified technicians in-house — a key differentiator that means tighter integration, faster commissioning, and a single team accountable for how the building actually performs.
